MEMPHIS PHOTOGRAPHER – Don Putnam is an internationally exhibited and published photographer. His work has been exhibited in U.S. Embassies around the world and can be found in the personal archives of HRH Princess Margaret of Great Britain to Dolly Parton of Sevierville. His work has appeared in major magazines such as: People, Elle, Country Music, Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, USA Today, etc. His artistic and insightful photographs of presidents, European royalty, celebrities, country music stars and ordinary people have earned him the respect and admiration of photographers around the world.

His studio is the world! He has journeyed to the Philippine jungles and photographed the elusive, head-hunting Negrito Pygmies – to the Indian Ocean to photograph Naval Air Operations aboard the world’s largest Air Craft Carrier the U.S.S. Carl Vinson – to Norfolk Virginia to photograph Garth Brooks’ welcome home concert for the troops of Desert storm – to Nashville to create a private portrait of Waylon Jennings and his son, Shooter….”One thing about the creation of a photograph is the requirement of experience” says Putnam. “You have to experience the situation in order to record it.
